Chinese Oyster Mushroom recipe
In this post we will face another cafeteria champion, the oyster mushroom. Mushrooms in the Chinese cuisine is an evergreen because the ingredients are available in all seasons, cheap and very fast to cook when you don't have much time to cook something a bit more complicated. Soups in the winter and stir fried always, and it can be paired with congee or steamed rice as well.
soak the oyster mushrooms in light salt water for 20 minutes, and wash them one by one
Cut in advance the green, red peppers, onion and ginger. Pour water into the pot, boil, put in the mushroom pieces, boil, continue to cook for 2 minutes, remove and rinse with cold water, drain.
