Chinese Homemade Tofu Recipe

Have you ever wondered how Chinese people cooks their tofu? With this recipe we will show you how we cook tofu if we have some Chinese guests, a taste that everyone can enjoy. You will need a black fungus that you can find dried in the Asians shop, remember to soak it before its use.

Ingredients

  • 400g Fresh tofu
  • 1 Bell pepper
  • 1 Green shallot
  • 1/2 tsp White sugar
  • 100g Black fungus
  • 1 tbsp Red bean paste
  • 1 Slice ginger
  • 1 tsp Potato starch

Cut the tofu in triangles

Boil the tofu in the oil until golden brown. Each time fry a few pieces, it will be fried several times, so it is not easy to break, then take out

Cut in small pieces the soaked black fungus and bell pepper

Heat the pan and add oil, add the chopped green onion and add red bean paste, stir fry

Add black fungus, fried tofu, add some water and pour in the bell pepper, and stir fry.

When there's more juice add some starch for a thicker broth. Enjoy!
